Vcard error when receiving via SMS

When I receive a contact which someone has sent to me via SMS, the vcard comes in an unreadable format. There is heaps of weird letters and numbers. I am however able to make sense of the phone number. Is there any way to fix receiving cards in MIUI? Never had this problem with my old Samsung Galaxy S4 or Nexus 5.

I'm running Xiaomi.EU ROM.
