Issue with rooting 5.1.1 G3

I screwed up and could use some help. I tried to use the one-click method here:

to root a G3 with 5.1.1, which was a bad idea - I didn't read all the way to the end of the thread like I should have (big mistake). It stalled at the Firmware Update in download mode with the words "VUSER B73. MODIFIED" at the bottom. The phone still boots up and works just fine, but I can't get it rooted. I tried this method next:

which just failed out repeatedly. Download mode still just displays the firmware update at 0%. Then I tried the TOT method from here:

but I get a "Download FAIL!!" message with the following information in the text window:

Any ideas? I'm pretty stumped on this one.
