As a potential customer I've been doing my fair share of reading on this phone in these forums and around the internet for the past week, and as attractive as this phone appears I've heard the criticism about it but im still close to pulling the trigger on buying it so I've still got a few more questions before I make up my mind.:)
So I remember someone mentioning that the phone constantly uses around 1.3-1.5GB of ram out of the 2GB available, and i wanted to know if this is normal for an android/sony phone (I'm currently using windows phone) to have so much of its ram in use while its idle and if other users here are experiencing similar usage and also how this might affect battery life?
I also wanted to ask about how the phone gets updated.. As far as I'm aware updates are usually sent thru carriers but none of the carriers from where i am carry this phone so I'm curious as to if i can manually update the phone thru sony's software or am I in a jam?
