I would like to root and install TWRP. What's the best way to do it without formatting partitions / resetting the data ?
I'm on stock, encrypted phone.
There is a new method to root without modifying /system by Chainfire (http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...35&postcount=2)
And there is TWRP, but it doesn't support decryption.
I would like to remain encrypted after rooting.
Can I just flash TWRP, flash the Chainfire kernel, boot into TWRP and flash SuperSU ? Will this work ?
