Does AT&T still charge people extra (on top of a data plan) for USB Tethering??? I have a 20GB limited data plan and I am not certain I have a Tethering plan, BUT with a semi-custom rooted TMS5 3.0 ROM I used to be able to download 12GB files from Torrents and some other sites through USB Tethering for PC. However, now I am on fully stock & locked 5.1.1 ROM... I have done such 10-12GB download tethering several times, but only once per month, every other month. I have not been sent any letter saying they will bump me to some Tethering plan. Any idea why? Is there some method to hide you're tethering with some encryption that does not require Root?
