My previous phone was/is LG G3. Everything was fine, except it is just damn too large. I'm 6'3 and my hands are huge, yet I wasn't able to text with one hand, so I thought I get the 5 inch phone. So far I love the G925T. I like the edge displaying clock, however, how much battery does it drain if I leave it over night? Does this mean the entire display is in use for the 8-10 hours I have it on?
Second, I always hated Samsung OS, especially their launcher, S6 is no different. I have been using Nova launcher for years and using it in G925T as well. Can I uninstall the original launcher with Titanium Backup? I already debloated it as much as I could. Also, I find this phone lagging from time to time, which I find strange, having so much power. When I had Nexus 5, I never experienced any lagging. I'd love to use a custom ROM, but I like some stock features, especially the WiFi Calling.
Also, this morning I bricked my phone flashing the TWRP and had to reflash to stock. I keep it rooted, but with stock recovery for now, until I hear different. It is my understanding that there is no recovery for G925TUVU3DOI1 yet.
What do people thing about this phone? Is it a keeper or just something transitional?
