Issues with MXPlayer not responding on my S805 tv box

I am not sure if I can post links to ebay but I have purchased a very cheap box

"MXQ Quad Core S805 OTT TV" box

I am having an issue with MX player - It will load up first time as soon as you click on a folder to view the videos inside it just hangs totally and I have to force close it. The next time I try to load it up it never loads.

Here are the specs for the system if this may help? Thanks!
