I just picked up another tmobile Note3 from CL for my daughter. The person said it was his brothers and he didn't know anything about it. He couldn't get it to turn on so was selling it for parts (). I couldn't resist!
After getting a new battery and plugging a loose connection, the phone fired right up!
While running thru the phone I noticed that the IMEI doesn't match the one on the label.. I haven't called tmobile yet. I would like to get some advice first. . I'm not into using a stolen phone or illegally using a bad IMEI phone..
I know of a loophole with Budget Mobile that allows blacklisted tmobile phones to be used on their network. I would rather do this (if the phone isn't stolen) as a legal/legit alternative but would need an easy and free way to return the phone to its legitimate IMEI....
Your thoughts??
