Hi!!!
I think i put a "end" in low storage device ...
Yesterday, talking to a friend, Mina Samy, came the subject of the low memory for the apps. Mina said it would be very good that the apps were automatically to a partition in external sd with out the help of apps...
... so, I stay thinking about that....
i think i made it...!
What it needs:
-Root
-Mini partition tool in PC
-Do a backup from ROM (if you fail)
-Do backup from your apps with the default app from phone, to restore after the changes.
-Root browser
-link2sd (in the end we can delete it, not unistall, delete!) helps in scripts only!
Ok!, ,lets do it!
-Root your phone
-Use mini partition tool ( http://download.cnet.com/MiniTool-Pa...-10962200.html ) to create a main partition ext4 with the saize you think you need it! I create a 5GB partition.
-install root browser from Google Play, open Root browser, go to data/app copy root browser app (is a black folder with a android pirate ) and paste in system/app, press the app and dont release, it will pop up a window, choose permissions, select all in read and Owner in write, must say 0644, do OK
-Unistall Root browser and reboot, it will say android is updating because is installing Root Browser as a system app.
-download link2sd from google play, and with root browser go to data/app copy - com.buak.link2sd-1.apk - (is link2sd app) to sd card.
- Do a factory reset and in boot DON´T CREATE OR ACTIVATE THE GOOGLE ACOUNT!!!!
-Root Browser is already install because is in system.
-Install Link2SD from the sd card
-execute Link2sd and if dont pop up a window to mount partition, press the bars in uper left corner, close to Link2sd Plus, and choose mount partitions. If fails?
- If fails and say samething about init.d, with Root Browser go to system/etc look for a file init.d, delete it, and create a folder with name i, than after created change name to init.d, press the folder untill pop up the window, change permissions to 755 ( select all in read, owner in write, all in Execute )
-Now try link2sd again, it will mount the partition.
- with Root Browser go to data folder, change name of app folder to _app
-In data, look for a folder with name sdext2 (that is your partition from sd card! ), press that folder untill pop up a window and select Create shortcut, and paste in data to.
-you wil see samething like ( sdext2 - shortcut ), rename it to app
-reboot
-Now you can create Google acount and restore your apps from backup
-all apps go now to sd ext4 partition, but the lib files still in data, they are not big like the apps and need it to be in there.
- link2SD is off because is in _app but script still working and is what we need, you can delete the app but let the folder, we never know if will need it later.
- Now you have the storage with the size you want.
So far the app is working properly.
Tell me if you like it or if you find any issue!!!
I think it works in all phone models...:fingers-crossed:
ADVISE!!!! Don´t unmount you SD Card and take it out from phone! EXT4 still mounted!!!!
