Dell Venue 8 7840 5.1 (32-bit) and not 64-bit

I just got the Venue 8 and was wondering why the Lollipop update for the Dell is 32-bit and not 64-bit. The SoC is 64-bit and everything.

Also, seems like the System is using up 1GB of ram all the time, and the launcher has to re-draw if i press the home button after using a heavier application like Facebook (ugh) or something similar.
