Allwinner r16 android 4.4.2/4.4.4 HU

So after destroying my JY-UQ124 (RK3188 quad core) accidentally, I have decided to look for a new HU that may be more modern and customized specifically for my car.

Searching aliexpress I ran into a company called smart rover navigation selling some allwinner r16-based HU.

specs -

CPUQuad-core Cortex™-A7
256KB L1 Cache
512KB L2 Cache
GPUMali400
Supports OpenGL ES 2.0 / VG 1.1 standards
VideoSupports 1080p@60fps video playback
Supports multi-format FHD video decoding, including Mpeg1/2, Mpeg4 SP/ASP GMC, H.263, H.264, WMV9/VC-1, VP8, etc.
Supports H.264 High Profile 1080p@60fps encoding
Complies with RTSP, HTTP, HLS, RTMP, MMS streaming media protocols
Supports OpenMax protocol

vs RK3188 -
28 nm HKMG process
Quad-core ARM Cortex-A9, up to 1.6 GHz
512 KB L2 cache
Mali-400 MP4 GPU, up to 600 MHz (typically 533 MHz) supporting OpenGL ES 1.1/2.0, Open G 1.1
High performance dedicated 2D processor
DDR3, DDR3L, LPDDR2 support
Dual-panel display up to 2048x1536 resolution

So it looks like the RK3188 should be faster due to using quad A9 cores vs allwinner using quad A-7 cores. But in practice how much difference would this make?

It looks like the r16 was released just June of this year, but it has worse specs than the RK3188 released last year?

Anyone on here running on an allwinner r16-based unit?
